Tom Hanks lends his voice to several characters in this animated film about a little boy (Hanks) who has serious doubts about Santa Claus. He lies awake, trying to hear Santa's sleigh. To his great surprise, he hears something quite different indeed: the Polar Express, roaring to a halt outside his window. The conductor (Hanks) invites the boy aboard the magical train, and they embark on an unforgettable adventure to the North Pole. When the boy and some other skeptical kids arrive, they meet the one person who just might be able to strengthen their faith in the magic of Christmas. Based on the popular children's picture book.
